Hello to whoever still actively follows me (even it are just 3 of my 3000+ watchers 
)
)Yeah, I'm not much around on DA... I wished they made it easier to view the art of the people I follow here, in a tumblr / facebook kind of newsfeed, I don't fancy clicking endless tumbnails much. 
Oh well. I'm still here. Still drawing, still animating. I'm doing a lot of creative work with educational partners lately, of which I can sadly show very little up here. But who knows what I'll be up to next year. Oh, I illustrated my first official children's book this year... it'll be out somewhere in spring I hope, I'll let you know.
I renewed my DA subscription, so I hope to be more active here! (yes, I made that promise many, many times over the years, but oh well.) I advice following me on my facebook page if you like to see more regular news though.

Good afternoon dear visitors.
It's been about three weeks since I moved back in on my almost a decade old DA account and I liked my stay enough so far to invest in a paid account again. The ability nowadays to split your gallery and favorites into subfolders makes the place a good 'cloud' to quick reference to sketching and presenting. I'm re-evaluting my gallery, watches and favorites to my current interests and profile and I'm currently making preparations to re-brand my profile page - so be prepared for something exciting happening soon.
Also, I think I have to look into making a custom skin for my journal... no idea how yet, but hopefully I'll find out as soon as I find some time for it.
So, as they say: to be continued!

My deserted home

Wow, my little place in the big DeviantArt district is pretty deserted. Not surprising since I only pay this home a visit once every 6 months or so. Let's get some new wallpaper and furniture in, see if it can become lively again!

Aww. My dino painting is made Daily Deviantion today. What a great thing to happen just when I promised to be more active here. I had DD's before (I think this is my 5th one.. I guess, it's been a while) but it's the first time it's awarded to what I self see as a more conceptually interesting piece instead of the 'visual overload' fantasy landscape pieces that usually get that honor. Nice to know that more people will meet my dino today.
What I really miss here is a 'like' button as on Facebook; that's the way I usually let people know their kind words are appreciated these days.
