Ah yes. See here the result of a weekend procrastination. I should have learned for an exam, I should have mailed my tutor, I should have finished Carrotia #4...
Instead I made this. (more or less) At least it looks pretty!
I'm still trying out a few things on merging the biological and technological... is it a forest, or a city? Are those things in the foreground trees, skyscrapers or even living creatures... you decide.
Sketched in Shi Painter, worked out in Photoshop in about 5 hours
Gorgeous! I love the composition you have here, and all those little flickering lights are wonderful. I guess they are your specialty. I think the ambiguity of the piece really makes it work. I like to think they are sentient trees, augmented with robotic components. Excellent work as always!
Damn you and your gift for making such brilliant-looking sci-fi enviroments. Seriously. I love the reflection on the ground, and the lights in the distance best.. Reminds me of some holidays I've been on, watching the lights on the other side of the bay.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
