This painting I made for a good friend's birthday. It's a tribute of his most personal animation project as of today. The little vector figure is a rather bad mooded sickly boy that is not to be cheered up by it's surroundings easely... I made my own rendition of it in acrylic paint on a 50x40 cm canvas.
thsi is ezactly what i like.. something fnished...... colorfull.. moody... just one thing i dont get.. if the sky below is orangy... why's the sun up there??? anyway... its full of meaning to me..
wow! did someone set a "two-words" limit on comments? O_o
Anyway. This is lovely work! refreshing change from Carrottia.
This piece makes me smile I think the kid is very cool. Love the round and childlike shapes, lovely style.
Black cloud over his head
*sigh* see, this is where traditional art overcomes digital. It's not easy to achieve such a... "real" texture to the piece. It's really nice to see the brush strokes.
The color palette is intriguing, saturated yet not bright. Great use of blacks.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science.
